Please find enclosed photos of the MB Developments Euro Lambretta 2009 prize draw!

Mesage from Mark Broadhurst.........

This is the first version of the MBD Race-Tour cylinders done to a 230cc, its specially tuned by Mark Broadhurst for the event.

It will be drawn as a full kit including:

. Race-Tour crankshaft
. Race-Tour cylinder
. Race-Tour 70mm piston
. Cylinder head
. Inlet manifold, matched and flowed
. All the fasteners and gaskets.

The barrel number is MRB1600, the number of cylinders tuned by MBD, they have done more but saved this number for the event.

The Inlet and exhaust port is standard RT MB Stage 5 as the kit comes, ports are polished and flowed.

It will come with a 30mm Dellorto type rubber mounted inlet manifold which has been bolted to the cylinder and flowed.

Transfers are opened to suit slightly larger transfer feeds as done to our old school stage 6 casings and they are flowed through into the cylinders bore.

Sent today for plating and hopefully back in time to present personally on day of the draw.

All been well it will be on display on the MBD stall Friday and Saturday of the Euro Lambretta event.

It comes with a costing of £1200, FREE to a lucky WINNER..........so good luck if you are going to Euro Lambretta!

Yours Sincerely

Mark Broadhurst

I could look at that all day....
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming: "WOW, WHAT A RIDE"

It looks a very well thought out and made piece of kit :D , pity it wasnt out 5 years ago, it would have cleaned up against the Mugello,s. As regarding it being piston ported, its an expensive bit of kit as it is, a reed might have made it even more expensive to produce and therfore out of reach of most scooterist,s, if its not already. Very nice of MB to offer it as a prize though :D .
