I aquired this restoration project a number of years ago from a good mate who knew i was after an italian DL of any description. I took me a long while to get started and in the end i didn't have the funds to really paint it properly as i would have liked, but instead i built a nice rough and ready machine to get me back out and about on. Sorry for the pic quality, all of them were taken with an oily phone.

the bike as i recieved it.

Cheers mate, i'm no anorak so i used some original SIL parts rather than bad italian remakes :-), she runs and stops sweet as nut too.

nice one..

its ages since I did a rattle can bike - there was always a sense of achievement when complete.

nothing wrong with good/genuine SIL parts - that's what has kept us going for years

To be honest, the paint came out a bit s**t, but the colour choice, Olive drab and satin black kind of suit the "s**t" look. ;-)

And if i learned anything from this paintjob it is "Never use poundland primer". Nothing sticks to it, and when you scrub it back everything reacts to it.
