Not an answer but a question, why do you want to seal up a STAINLESS STEEL tank? To stop it rusting. :?: :?: :?: Surely be better off making sure the welds are sound? But then I'm not an expert.

pet seal supposed to be the best.
cant see why you would need it though, just need to make sure it is spotless inside, as they can have polishing compound inside :o and this is an abrasive   which is not what you want going through your engine :D

when I was looking into this a couple of years ago to do my tank, petseal got some really bad reviews. flaking, blocking fuel lines etc. of course much is dependent upon doing it the right way. cleaning it and drying it thoroughly before using the sealant. i used a product from Frost Autos in the end. It's been fine since.
but, yeah, why seal a stainless tank ?

Probably because of the stories of some of them leaking. I'll be doing the same soon.
Speak to Soulsurfer, he posted about the best one to use, aparently one of the better known brands should be avoided, I forget which one but if he sees this I'm sure tell you which one to avoid.

Its all the horror storys on this (Briliant)Forum about leaking welds etc that made think it was smart to prevent dissaster....

Someone even mention that the stainless steal react with the petrol in a way that was not good for the cylinder also. I dont want my RB kit to hurt...

Wouldt you seal this tank before use?
