piston ring peg

just rebuilding a mates scooter gp200 engine and noticed that the top ring pin is no were near out as far as the bottom ring pin.
what options do I have ? new hole put in,Or a new pin put in, Its just a std indian top end.

might be the the top one is good,and the bottom is coming loose,is it the original piston or a new one.

Get yourself to "Grampian Engineering" to get it re pinned (not too far away from you)

just re read your post and noticed its an indian top end so I assume its a cheapo piston and re pin may outweigh just buying a replacement unit

thanks for the replys,as for assuming a cheap piston which is prob correct but I`ve had the same troubles with a peg coming out of an asso piston and messing up my top end up after it had been sorted to 14.65bhp..

and also it is the original piston
