Evening all, I have an original Ducati light flywheel in fantastic condition that I'm going to sell. The thing is I don't know what they are worth. I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea as to what I should ask for it. Thanks in advance Pete.

Mr Terror. I don't believe you don't know that they are very sought after. So just bung it on E.Bay and let it go. You ought to do quite nicely out of it.

SOLD!
To be honest I haven't got an eBay account. I did have one but there are too many morons on there. I'd rather sell it on here without all the hassle of silly question and offers. I have done a search on eBay for a price guide but there's none on there to compare. If anyone wants to PM me an offer feel free.
Pete.

^... ha, ha, ha. I bought that lot!
Do note though that the light Ducati flywheel is totally different to the heavy original GP200 Electronic flywheel in this Ebay lot. The light Ducati flywheel is the 80s AF electronic item and a totally different item, for different needs and with with a very different buyer.
The 80s AF electronic flywheels are pretty sought after and a good one normally fetches pretty good money. The modern Indian reproduction light AF flywheel is a copy of the 80s Ducati item but they seems to be a little hit and miss about trigger alignment and/or misfire issues (not forgetting operator error!). I like the original 80s AF flywheels and still use one on my daily commuter.

Would lathed down ones be worth much? I'm sure I've got a couple with plastic fans on that are about a kilo each.

Yes 100% 1980's AF Ducati flywheel and not the newer Indian type. I'll post some photos tomorrow.
