See Mito Racing does a conversion kit to run single oil seal but I would think the mag housing would have to be machined, presumably with a slot running from cut out by transfer. Would it be worth doing on a TS1?

mite be reduced friction; gess 1 seal has less friction than 2 seals an bearings run higher rpm in oil than they can in grease cus they run cooler
