series 1 with series 2 headset

i have seen a picture of this ,fitting both onto a chrome ring shouldn't be a problem,anyone done this,two lights are better than one!

my brother in law Bonn has this on his series 2 (+ series 1 horncast) both lights work, I think they are just wired up together, as he has a big tank and no battery tray. Tom Petch from Y.S.C. has this on one of his "project" scooters, project 11 I think.

botom screw on the series 2 headset headlight rim can be a problem,

Each to their own but I don't know why anyone would want to do this, am I the only one who thinks it looks awful? Pathfinders would be a better looking option for extra illumination
