Having a bit of a mare at the moment with compression, bought a 2nd hand kit, and when fitted had to much compression fitted 2 head gaskets, and a 1.5mm base packer and still to high. Gave up and bought a new Cleaned up and matched 185 SR type kit and same problem applies, I now have 3 x head gaskets fitted just to see if any beter but still really high? Crank turns freely with plug out and not binding anywhere or tight. Really worried it will snap the kick start shaft or cause damage somewhere. Would it be because the Gear/sprocket ratio still as Li125 giving a non advantage when turning over? It would even struggle to kick over fast enough for a good spark.
Any other ideas please ! :|

Have you measured/calculated your compression ? How easy is it to kick over without spark plug in ?
