Jamesp from the LCGB forum has quite a bit of experience using these carbs, he put together the following guide to converting and using them on a lambretta:

http://members.value.com.au/jamesp/tm28instructions.doc

I have a TM28 i am planning to use in the near future, James suggested the following jetting as a starting point:

"Main jet: 190-210
Pilot jet: 25-30
Needle jet/atomiser: O5-P0 (169-series)
Slide: 2.0-2.5
Needle: 5D6 (start on pos.3)

Settings in the above ranges have worked well for me on half a dozen engines, from 190 Stage 4 to 225 Stage 5 (all with Clubman-type exhausts or "touring" expansion chambers).
"

The 5EJ11 needle also seems popular on Lambretta applications, the WCLW website also has some useful info:

http://www.lambretta.net/carb-jetting-chart.htm

Hope this helps :)

I'm using one that JamesP converted for me on my SR185 (which he also built). Can't recommend it enough! :D Download the detailed instructions posted above from James' website and all your questions shall be answered. :D
