LAMBRETTA MSC MICRON. ARE BOTH TYPES THE SAME?

Am looking to fit an old style micron to my scooter. Am told they did two types, mechanical and repackable muffler. Does anyone know, if they performed the same? The one i had was repackable, am being offered a mechanical one. Thanks. Barry.

Don't know about performance but the mechanical mufflers are a lot heavier than the later repackable type.

Repackable type is what you want - good pipes on both Vespa and Lambretta
