Just treated myself to another scooter.
Been off the road for a few years and in need of some minor fettling but feeling rather pleased with it.

Excellent choice, I have been looking at one of those or a GL. What's your plans.

First job is to make it as mechanically sound as possible, so an engine rebuild is on the cards.
The electrics are Ducati, but 6V and so that'll need sorting too.
There's a small bit of welding needed on the rearmost floor struts where the weld has started to crack.
Other than that I'll leave it as is.
In the summer I hope to do Little Britany and then head down to Spain on it.
Eventually I'll probably restore it. It's been resprayed that colour and so I might put it back to how Mr. Piaggio intended in super 70's mustard.

I like that a lot. I have to say my 6v femsatronic lights are really good although I think part of that is the way the glass focuses the light produced. Enjoy it

Well that plan didn't last long!
Another project to guarantee that I die penniless.
Started with this:
A quick strip down and trip to the blasters and it now looks like this:
The only significant area of grot seems to be at the back
With luck, this will be a whole lot easier than last year's Sei Giorni project!
Still can't decide what colour to do it though. I don't fancy Silver and the original colour was a wishy washy dirty yellow. I'm definitely sticking with an original colour but which one? The current favourites are red or burgundy with white stripes.
