RB20 Carb choice.

Afternoon all, I'm putting together an RB20 motor with mainly new parts but re-using bits and pieces from other projects that never got finished or started. I have a 30MM VHSA carb that was going to be used on an Imola motor and was jetted to suit. Would it be ok to use this size / type of carb jetted to suit or should I get a 34MM? I don't have a bottomless pit of money so want to save where I can. Any advice or comments very welcome. Cheers in advance Pete.

Would think that VHSA is pretty=much ideal. The optimal/reccomended carb for the kit is the 30mm VHSH, which at the end of the day is a slightly updated VHSA which has been discontinued. AF publish a jetting spec http://www.afrayspeed.co.uk/index.php?page=Per_rb20

Cheers
