What would people recommend for gluing the floor mats on a Jet 200? I'm thinking something silicony perhaps, that you can mix up and spread evenly on the back. I'd be interested in peoples experience of this.

I used bathroom silicon on my Lynx. It was fine. They never moved and it would be easy to remove if needed.

I must admit it's something I've never done and don't know a lot about it. I always think of silicone being in tubes and used with a gun. How did you apply it?

Contact adhesive :D thats how they were stuck down originally ;)
If you want to remove the old glue, soak in cellulose thinners :D

Silicone - it's inert isn't it?
