RB20 crank or not?

Evening all, I recently purchased what i believed to be an RB20 crank from a well know dealer. I chose it from the picture and discription on their website i.e 58mm x 116mm etc etc. Anyway a totally different crank to the one on their website arrived a few days later. So i called them the next day and they were adamant that it was the correct crank for the RB20 kit. I doubled checked on the AF website and it is a totally different crank and the one i got sent was a whole lot cheaper than the one on the AF site. A few emails and calls later i got a refund for the difference in cost and the assurance that the crank is up to the job etc etc. I then read that the crank needs to have the big end shimmed and i'm sure this one hasn't been shimmed and the rod doesn't appear to be 166mm long. Could someone please check the photos below and confirm one way or the other please?

Any advice greatly appreciated Pete.

There's certainly no sign of big end shims on that one and in that case I'd expect to have to shim the small end.

That looks like a MECEUR type crank with a polished rod. It's hard from your first pic to know where you're measuring to and from, but it should be between the centres.

Looks like

Though AF also list this one as suitable for RB22, which also looks similar.

I measured roughly from the centre of the crank pin to the centre or the small end. It looks more like 107mm to me and certainly not 116mm. It's a pain that its not shimmed up and a pain if I have to send it back again. I do have a standard crank in my shed it looks like i'll have to dig it out and compare rod lenghts with that. Thanks for your comment Pete.

Put y gugeon pin in; mesure between pin to pin add 19 = rod lenth
