Lambretta engine mounts often over looked but a very important part of you lambretta handling. Building and servicing a lot of engines and coming across the failed mounts the problem ive always had is supply or quality. A lot are prone to collapsing under use in high powered engines,the rubber wearing quick when exposed to fuel spray and often poor tolerance fitting in to the casing.Combined with the fact supplies regularly running out it can be a nightmare .We are now using a mount exclusively made by Scootopia. Not only do they fit well they have great resistance to fuel spray. With correct balancing holes which incidently have arrows for left and right side fitting the provide great handling characteristics and reduce the transmission of engine vibration. Finally with these being a UK controlled product stock levels should remain frequent.
We are selling these at £30.00 per pair which is another bonus as their nearest rivals in quality are much higher in price.
