Lack of power?

I'm running a GT186 kit on my Li150 special, with a 30mm Delly (no filter), Scootrs expansion (PM copy, I think), 46 x 15, I had it set up and dyno'd, and I pulls nearly 15bp. On a perfect day, it will hit 70+mph, but if I hit an incline or wind, it reduces drastically to 50mph. Is this something I'll just have to put up with, or is there a gearing or exhaust issue, or both?

its just the trade off characteristics of a revvy pipe.....this is why a lot of people have progressed to mid/low revving pipes to overcome issues you have described.

Lose the revvy pipe. Put a longer pipe on it. Upgear it. It'll still do 70+, but wont make your ears bleed.

I doubt you'd be disappointed if you tried a MB/BGM Clubman, with the right gearing.

46x19 with a GP200 (indion) box.
47 or 46x17 with an Li150 box.

I have run it on 4.9 fourth gear ratio which is great but I feel it will pull more so I have increased front sprocket to a 17 from 16. Unfortunately, engine is on the bench without a scoot to put it in at the moment.
