Following a complete rebuild and upgrade to a mugello 186 kit on my series 1, i have done around 700 miles and my kickstart seems to be getting stiffer, making it harder to kick over and start, any ideas why?

Best to remove the chain case and check the internal boss as these can break on Ser 1's and also the internal bushes are not too dry. If that's all fine check the chain drive and maybe take the flywheel off to check there's no rubbing indicating the crank may have twisted, take the plug out and rotate the crank to see if all turns freely.
