I'm about to go on a long(ish) journey on my scoot, almost all of which will be on motorways. Is it worth swapping the plug to a B9ES rather than the B8ES I normally use (i.e. 1 step cooler) as a precaution against overheating or won't it make much difference?
Cheers

try it, and see how it looks. what's the top end ?
my mugello doesn't like B9 plugs, fouls them up, even on a longer fast run. I caned it to wicksteed [over 100 miles] with a B8 and it was fine.
Whereas the previous iron lined/alloy barrel preferred the B9, it would pink at revs on the B8
