crown wheel play?

Just building tv 175 engine series 3 ,is it ok to have a small amount of lift in crown wheel with spider tightened up to 54ftlbs,when clutch is fitted no lift , i have put another spare c/wheel & spider on still same

According to Stickys book there should be 0.1mm clearance ,ie the spider should protrude thru the crownwheel this amount.Shims are available to fit on the spider before fitting to the crownwheel to raise it.
