I bought an ld that someone had welded an auto engine into,.
i was going to do an auto conversion...but a bit better than this I had a change of heart so found a bare gp frame unloved,,
and added the ld hoop..
That was as far as i got until 3 weeks before the 4 nations rally when i decided i was going to try and finish it on time for the rally...
first i fitted the ld mudguard to late indian forks ,
then a stainless tank was shortened to fit ...
then i fitted a gp 200 engine i had from another bike and re did a gori to suit it,,
fitted a scoot rs disc added the brackets from the ld frame..new cables and loom etc..
then added li series 2 legshields and rear runnere with trim .. a nice comfy seat , inline spare wheel ,,pathfinder light
and this is how it ended up.. made to to wales and back with no issues ,,
usually add pics as i go but didnt have any spare time and lots of late nights ..worth it though and had a ball at the rally,,,
LD ish

Better to keep quiet and be thought of as a D!ck Head, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Fantastic Gerry. I love the way you make it sound so simple to marry the parts off different models together as if it was a piece of cake.
