If you want to keep the autolube and not tune the engine, then a 26/26 is ideal. There is a limit and the 26/26 carb will only run well with a main jet up to 145. If you are planning to tune it you might as well save your money and get a 30mm carb instead.

Can't see much point in fitting the 26mm on a 210 malossi ? 30mm is the "expected" minimum to obtain the results that a 210 Malossi can give out. What sort of exhaust are you thinking of fitting ?

Mine is already a 210 and it has a standard carb and scorpion pipe, has been dyno'ed by Paul Baker just for set up don't know what bhp ,flies up to 65 in third and then struggles to get much more so i am trying to work out whats best to change first .

The 4th gear cog for a T5 / PX 125 one.

It all depends if you want to keep the autolube or not. A 26, 28 or 30mm carb will all give the same top end speed on your set up.
I am guessing yours already has a T5 4th gear. So at 65mph in 3rd it is doing about 8000 rpm. When you drop into 4th at this speed you are then at 6200 rpm on a T5 4th. And there you have no torque to get you into the power band. This is the normal 210 problem. There are two ways around it. Do some things to make it have more torque.......... or gear it for the torque you have.
What is going to make it fly in 3rd and 4th is changing the clutch gear from a 23 tooth to a 22 tooth. It should only take an hour and I Promise you, you wont regret it

Jack no t5 judging by the way it falls off a cliff as soon as i change up but then sometimes i catch it just right and it will change up good and keep on song .I like the sound of changing the clutch gear rather than putting in a t5 cog or do i need both ? Think i will get a different pipe as well ,either a sip road 2 or a revolver seem the favourites at the moment .Was thinking of swapping it for a 1200 bandit but the boss says no it looks too cool

It doesnt matter either way really. The PX200 4th gear is only about 1.5 mph longer. If you do already have a T5 4th and together with the 22 tooth clutch then the gearing will be perfect. Even with PX200 4th it will still be so much better. A decent expansion type exhaust (JL, Revolver, etc.) will suit the new gearing. Once you get to that stage if it needs a main jet bigger than 145, then you really do have to get a bigger carb.
ps. I have two motorcycles on the road as well (600 and 1100) and still I prefer to ride my scooter at every chance I get!

As far as I know the 22 tooth clutch is from a PX150 and can be used with any of the ring gears (65, 67or 68 tooth).
There is a bit more story on the SIP page
