Does anyone know a good online fixings retailer that sells machine screws, bolts etc by the unit. I have put a.kit list together for my restoration and think the ready made.packs dealers stock seem a.bit overpriced.

If you know what you want just pop around to your local welding and fixing supplier.

They'll have most of the items you need at jaw droppingly low prices.

I can't get a lot of the items here and those that I can are Philips head, not slotted. I have looked at Beedspeed and I don't think I can do the whole thing for £15.

Cyprus.

There is one supplier here for fixings but I can't get everything.

I understand there used to be a supplier called Stagonset but their site has been out for a while.

You could try screwfix.

The postage might be a bit of a killer. But if you buy a few bags of everything you'll ever need, you'd only need to do one order.

I buy a lot from eBay these days, saves trawling round trying to find them too, they are also cheaper than the shops with free UK postage :-)

These peeps are good but only if you buy decent quantities as the unit price comes down the more you buy.
