Right, those speedy chaps at MB have sent me new fork links, rods,balls, springs and bumpers.

In theary shouldn`t I be able to compress the old links and springs and poke out the lower buffers with a screwdriver?

Those buggers arn`t shifting.

Tips appreciated as its doing my head in. :evil:

Tip of the day from me is......

I used a small Jack strop to hold up the links. Job done.

I tried that, but its pretty hard to do in sito, on my todd and with uprated springs.

soak the old ones in plenty of wd 40 or something the rubber absorbs the oil and goes soft .. give it over night
