Serveta 200 with a snapped crank, ooops :-(

Mates scooter on the way back from Woolacombe today,
Good plug colour and running well, then BANG :shock:

Conrod let go, and chopped his matching numbers case in half, less than 25mm of alloy left holding the 2 sections together :o

Anyone else seen this happen :?:

happened to chinky Phil on his GP a few years back, peppered everyone behind with shrapnel. :o

Has the casing been pushed apart to explain the gap between the web and driveside plate?

Wow .. that be scary lookin s**t! .. I used to think mec cranks were ok, i have heard some stories about them recently but that is just too much evidence .. ( i still blame the Fuel) .. its a conspiracy !!
