original seat cover fabric

tried asking this before but got no reply, so, again, does anyone know a source of fabric in the green (Gordon) tartan used in seat covers, spare wheel covers and legshield too lbags? I believe the original material was called rayon, any help with this would be greatly apppreciated

I dont know the tartan your on about, but ive seen seat hes done in the red tartan and leopard print.

cheers for that mate,gordon is the standard green background, yellow, white and black crosshatch, as used by lycett, midland and others in the 50`s
