are these original fitment or has someone made these to replace the grease nipples, both links have these in and are threaded the same size as the grease nipples

I've seen grease zerts like that on a LD (mk3 125). I was told those were the origional zerts for the bike.

No idea if they are correct for your application. So sorry if this is usless/egg sucking.
Looks like the fitting common in usa and on trucks (well erf's). Does it have the little ball on top?
They actually work well as the grease gun fitting slides over and locates properly, so you don't make as much mess (usually). They work perpendicular to the fitting, so would do well in your application, ie you work from the side, not underneath.
The adaptor screwed on the end of a normal brit pattern grease gun. I found a flex brake hose which had the same thread, so swapped that for the rigid tube, was much more convenient.

here you go,

Lubetech from here, have an adaptor - PK101 amongst others.

just had another look after cleaning them up a bit, and yes they are grease nipples. I have seen and used this type on earth moving machines to pump up the tracks. cheers simon

just another kind of grease nipple, easier to grease as well. nice to see the bronze bushes in there, I had some made a few years ago, and handed them out to a select few.... ;)
