series 1 framebreather rear grill

was wondering how people have attached the rear frame gill if not using the original air intake or have you left it off altogether. i cant use the original plastic bit that connects the grill to the hose as its seen better days and i wont be using the original system anyway (30mm vhsh on a rapido245). cheers simon
