Hi all,
Just fitted a vapor and wrapped the RPM wire round HT lead, but this doesn't seem to work very well! I believe you can wire direct to the Coil/CDI but do you connect to the LT wire or the pick up wire?
Cheers

Hi
I have a Trail Tech fitted to my Imola powered GP and it works perfectly fine and been fitted for 3 years. Have you got it wound round about 10 times? I have also put some insulation tape round to hold it in place.
Not sure which wire you would connect into on the CDI as I haven't needed too.

Maybe, if you're not using one already, a resistor R type spark plug and cap might help.
Also, as with my digital rev counter, it's usually important to keep the RPM pick up wire, that you've wrapped around HT lead, away from any other wires and loom, right back up to the main unit.
