The threads in my links were on their way out, the crappy damper studs that were fitted by the previous owner didn`t have the shoulder and they screwed themselfs out, braking the front front damper.
As a quick fix I drilled them out and used a M7 hellicoil and Casa Lambretta studs. Just my luck that the casa stud snapped
I now have new rods, springs,MB links and rubber buffers on thier way over. I have had an annoying top-out, so hopefully i can find out whats wrong when I strip the forks.

And the moral of the story is " don't twist the b@11@x off the stud" A bit of loctite and just nip up

What do you mean? It snapped on the road and not in the garage.

Had cheap studs in mine when I got it, they snapped as I undid them when I was changing the dampers, seemed to have been made of cheese!
Mb ones fitted and forgotten.
