I am running a 186 mugello kit with 26mm carb with a 42mm AF Rayspeed clubman style exhaust, which is now run in 600 miles, performance is ok but i find it very load, i have restripped it to see if i had an air leak/ hole because it sounds like its blowing but everything seems fine.

Anyone else have this set up and find it load?

can anyone recommend a quiter performance exhaust which wont require me modifying footboards etc since the paint is all complete

Thanks

ive had several exhausts on my muggy, currently running a dev tour, great exhaust and in my opinion the best ive ever had for looks and fitment but it is a little louder than most, Previously i had a taffspeed copy, very good exhaust but not as good as a taffy but sounded sweet and not to loud, but by far the best exhaust ive ever had is the jl3, not to loud great looks (only to be spoilt with a new end can) (my opinion) and performance to die for, perfect for a 186 muggy

I had the exact same set up and found the Clubman very loud. I've just put an NK on and it is much much quieter-in fact I'm going back to the clubman as I'm not keen on the sound or the power delivery of the expansion chamber. The NK fits without any cutting or mods.

my PM tuning expansion worked well and fitted my GP with no cutting
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it does fail, hit them with it!!!
