As the stock of Lambretta Spares has been beneficial to the garage for customers scooters and reduced turnaround times etc, we have recently made the decision to start stocking Vespa items too. The usual stock of Malossi, Pinasco, Polini, Mazz etc exhaust, cranks, kits, bearings, seals, gaskets and so on are arriving as we speak.....i'll have them all photographed and uploaded to the web-store shortly.

Out of the new stock, I'm particularly pleased to see the new MHR kit from Malossi, it's an absolutely stunning update to the well known 210 kit....its just a different animal completely, the porting in standard trim is superb! Take a look at the pics below.....

Piston looks pretty much the same, although I'm surprised a couple of the windows are not bigger to match the new cylinder holes. The kit now comes with matching cylinder head which has two locating dowels and an o-ring.

Here is a picture of an 'old' standard 210 cylinder to compare:

Now look at the new MHR kit, bigger (wider and taller) exhaust port, secondary transfers have more area both at cylinder face and internally, the outer boosts at the back have more area, and the central boost port not only has more area, but also cuts through to the case instead of being only fed by a piston hole. The spigot cutouts are also much bigger:

Internal port area much bigger on new MHR kit inside the secondary transfers:

Bigger boost port and spigot window:

Secondary trans opens same as main trans now, instead of being heavily staggered. Spigot cutout larger, and opening to boosts larger:

Much better opeining to boost port:

This new kit is a brilliant upgrade, coming just at the right time for me as a P210 owner!! Lol.

We now carry this kit in stock, and I'm keen to get one fitted to my own P210 and see how it compares to the old kit i have just ported on my own scooter! So if anyone wants to buy my old 27.5bhp 210 kit (cylinder/piston/head) then make me a decent offer, so i can put the money towards one of the new MHR kits for my own scooter!! ;)

Lol, is it slow though? Or has it more pulling power and similar to the polini 210 kit which is a perfectly able touring kit.
Don't really want another revvy scooter than my last 2 (ts1 and malossi 210) .
Go on get one in and i'll maybe buy it .. ;)

I don't want to keep up with modern traffic. I want to hoon past it, preferably on one wheel!
