Stripped a brand new SIL gp200 crank for a yam rod - so got brand new rod/pin/bearing left

Have sourced an INA big end bearing so was gonna rebuild another knackered SIL crank (bearing failure) using pin/rod and INA bearing

I know the SIL bearings are crap but what about the rods. Anyone had any bad experiance?

Thought it would be reasonable spare crank to have the shelf as i can get the rebuild done at a good rate

I dont know anyone thats had trouble with indian conrods, i think they just change the rod while the cranks apart for a new pin and bearing, the webs are fine, i,ll be useing indian webs on my next RB :D , if were to go on anything more powerfull than a muggy it might be wise to use a better rod though, regards.

I'd say that any conrod that looked as though the big end was ground to clear the casings with an angle grinder would best be filed under B1N. They are garbage throw it away!!!
