Cyclone fitting

Has anybody fitted the cyclone box and not been able to see under the gearbox endplate to check that 5th gear lines up properly.
Can't get my fingers under and can't tell with a small screwdriver.
While I'm on I'll take it you don't leave the shim on the top of the cluster when doing the final build , or do you ?
Cheers in advance

I think some have used IPhones to take a picture. Stuart Own who fitted mine has a telescopic lense with a viewing screen (proper name escapes me).

unless you have freakishly long fingers that bend backwards you cant feel the cogs, but as the manual states if you have a smart phone set it to movie and its slips down the gap a treat and you can check that way, and yes the cluster shim is on the top of the cluster, not the bottom as in four speeds, good luck, its totally worth the hassle of fitting, paying and waiting!!

Hey Donnie what's your beef with the Cyclone box? That's your second post putting it down. Have you even tried one yet?
