autolube no oil

my m8s px200 autolube is not letting oil through, ive cleaned carb, cleaned carb housing ,checked that clutch is turning shaft, daft question whats the diff between a standard carb and a autolube carb, when bought it had all been disconnected blanked off etc wondering if they changed the carb

autolube carb has a little galley way underneath. also check that some kind of sealant has been used betwixt the gasket faces, as this will obstruct the oil flow. autolube carbs need only the gasket and NO sealant between carb/carb box/engine casing. personally, I don't like autolube, some are old and worn now, and I had an engine in last month that had seized because of a broken tooth on the thin drive cog. stick your oil in the petrol, you know its there then .
