Being that the slip joints are nice & snug on these pipes, has anyone chrome plated the box and header, and did you have any issues with the slip joints being too tight afterwards?

Mine were too tight after I painted it. I'd have thought chroming would stop them fitting altogether.

They quoted me this price too, but it's plus VAT making it £157.50, a local guy quoted £200.

I've now sent mine off for Cermakrome coating quoted @ £90+vat from Camcoat.
