Jockeys Boxenstop Brake kits

Can you use the Jockeys brake kits on the front as well as the back? I think Ive only heard of people using them on the back?
Slow is the new fast!
I cant think of any physical reason why you couldn't unless the shoe pegs are cast in to the back plate rather that screw in like the rear ones

Their primary purpose is to overcome the issue of the pegs not being in the correct position in relation to the layshaft which precludes the shoes centralising. Who in the uk stocks these ? ( google search only seems to bring up many forum threads and there site of course)
