Jockeys Boxenstop Brake kits

Can you use the Jockeys brake kits on the front as well as the back? I think Ive only heard of people using them on the back?

Their primary purpose is to overcome the issue of the pegs not being in the correct position in relation to the layshaft which precludes the shoes centralising. It would be cheaper to purchase another hub half.
