Engine spec:
New sil 200 rebuilt with new Italian crank, new bearings and seals
Fresco type pipe (eBay)
Used spaco 30mm carb (jetted for TS1?)
EBay steel lined ali 225 kit (straight from the box, all ports uncleaned, with poor fitting liner)
Break a leg compression
Timing, strobed at 19 BTDC

Ok, Where to start, mate has this engine, and is causing a few problems, engine generally runs ok, starts well, runs well (most of the time) but after a few miles the revs start to rise and then take a few seconds to fall and settle, the spark plug then starts to show signs of running lean.
The oil seals are all new and where fitted with no issues, could the high compression have pushed out an oil seal?
I know the above spec is probably not to everybody’s taste, but he would appreciate any help or advice.

what jets are fitted?

I dont know the jetting, but will try and find out..................could it be a carb issue?
