Would like to hear your opinions on whether or not a 5 plate surflex cutch, is good enough for a 22.5bhp ts1, thanx Lammer205.

That all depends on whether it holds the bike or not.Many have suffered clutch drag with the 5 plate and my 4 plate with springs was a waste of time.I know someone who has had a 5 plate in his standard ts1 with 35mm mikuni and Taffspeed race,for the last 3 years with no issues.I went down the AF road 6 plate route.Clutch sorted.Cheers,Speedy.

Go for the af race surflex, fit and forget , no more messing around , got them on all my bikes, and fitting one to my super monza ...
