does anyone know if this will work on a lammy electronic ignition with an augusto?

as long as you dont rev over 8000rpm and you have a battery it should be fine Id have thought?

a/c ignition, does it require external power source?

yep, the 2 crocodile clips in the picture will go to positive and negative then the black clip goes round the HT lead.

Just make sure the arrow on the clip is pointing the right way.
