PX200E Front light not working

Could connecting the green & pink wires the wrong way around cause a problem with the front light?
Think they may have been on the worng way around & now the front light doesnt work.
Both the dipped & high beam lights in speedo on, Back light/horn & indicators are all working OK
Might just be the bulb (hopefully) but has anyone seen this before
