Simon Compton from Bradford. Top man, I must pay him a visit next time I'm over his way. He flogged off all his scoots to fund his son's new interest, I think it was MotoX. You'd have got on well with him Mike, he shared your attention to detail.

The GP is going back where it came from and the GS is comming back to me.

I`ll tell you why when my GS is safely in the garage. Iv`e bought a L12 TS1 project instead.

Well, the Dl didn`t go anywhere.

The problem was that the previous owner doesn`t understand what maintenance means. Loads of small jobs I have been tinkering with like steering bearings, missing screws but the motor is top notch, so we came to an agreement we both could live with. 8-)

Been working round the clock to sort out those awfull hydraulics.

Fit a Boxenstop rear brake and removed rear disk,
Boxenstop handlebar master,
Swapped out crank case and fit an AF clutch and gone back to good old fashiond wire pull.

Much more driver friendly, starting to love it now.

Looks a lot cleaner I reccon.

Right.

I have done a strip and re-build while I was waiting for the roccho 6 plate clutch.

Total fork re-build because the rods were bent and the shocks, links and front disk were shot.

I have re-mounted the bodywork with propper rubber mounts and fit...

MB Damper rods
Uprated springs
Scoot RS Disk
MB fork links
Tubeless Sip rims, and new racemans
new choke sorted
New slide
Faced the exhaust flange and tweeked the exhaust so it fits without stress and its stopped blowing.
Sorted my Jockey`s rear brake (still pretty crap though)
Battery started burning in my glovebox, so that has been replaced with a gel type.
New black horncast grill
BGM Dampers, front and rear.
New Gori race seat (Actually very comfy! )

Iv`e had a couple of rides and its very tight and rattle free. Iv`e actually started to love this thing, well thats how it goes when I have been spending more time in the garage than I have with my wife...

Love the seat, I've never seen one hug the shape of the body so well.

Not if you mount it to the back of the seat, if you used the early wire type sprint rack that would look so smart IMO.
BOTAK ITU INDAH.
