When I start my jet 200, the kickstart sometimes stays down. A gentle nudge up with the foot brings it back to the the correct position (against the buffer stop). Before I take the sidecasing off, anyone have any pointers as to what to look for as to what's causing this?
Thanks.
Kickstart sticking.

its not anything simple like the buffer stop protrusion hitting the exhaust when its floored is it?
Scootering since 1968.
have had the problem bristolmod said on a clubman tailpipe,a persausive mallet did the job. but another to look out for if you have changed kickstart shaft or reference pin is that it (the pin) sticks too far out and i have a gouge out of the nearby stud housing in the crankcase

Thanks for the replies, I'll be looking at it tomorrow. It's definately not the kickstart catching on the tailpipe, so I'll have a look inside.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
