Hello I've had a Mugello 185 kit on my scoot for 10 years now, still going well. However it's always been a little unrefined and noisy. I have a 22 mil dellorto carb and big bore exhaust. Will a different size carb make her run a bit smoother and what exhaust should I fit to get her back to a more standard less noisy sound (if poss). Thanks

try a standard 38mm exhaust and down pipe- an original Innocenti one. Suggest leaving the 22mm carb as is.

... or a 38mm carb and a pipe with standard looks but slightly bigger tailpipe/muffler, perhaps something like a VW clubman. I can assue you that it would sound quite different to the way that it sounds today.

PS - Sorry, I couldn't stop myself! Neither of my suggestions would help.
