Dumb question. Does a black run from the speedo bulb holder screw to black on bulb holder and the earth just poke up when bulb goes in. Its the black feed i seem to have overlooked. Thanks

Take a feed to the speedo bulb from a black on the headlight junction box, then run an earth from a headset control rod bridge and either solder it to the speedo bulb holder or trap it when you fit the holder in the speedo.

Thanks for that. That explains why there is a screw fitting on bottom of speedo bulb holder
