can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for a vespa 90 with a px style electronic conversion ( just the 2 lighting wires black earth and blue power)

Check out Beedspeeds website might be some on there or give em a call. All you need to do is join all the loom wires to the regulator "out". blue goes to reg "in"and the black to loom black(earth) ,the loom red is the ignition.you will also need to change the light switch and the brake switch

Have you put a 12v brake light switch and light switch in as well ??
