Does anyone know if the Vespa T5 millennium was fitted with an electric start from the factory?
I am looking after my mates for a year while he goes travelling and it looks like it has the holes for one but no switch?

px disc headsets were used, hence the start button holes under the right hand grip.

Nice one- I was digging through some old stuff and found one of these switches brand new- I was gonna be helpful and fit it for him haha.
Not sure if any UK spec. T5 came with an electric start but they were certainly available for other markets. My brother in law had one about 10 years back which I presume was an import somewhere along the line.

Ah yes, well I did also have a Mark 1 T5 with electric start, now that's a scooter I regret selling, would have that back in a heartbeat.
It was on a B reg and I bought it from a guy in Brentwood if I remember right. Brilliant scooter, and yes was a T5 engine not a P2, I was told by the guy that sold it to me that it was only 1 or 2 he knew of in the UK at the time, I did a bit of research at the time and found it was an import that came via Germany so assumed it was a feature for that market.
