What 2 stroke is the peoples favouite for their ts1 these days?
Bike has been laid up since 2010 and I previously stuck Putoline MX5 in it. Brought 4 litres of it recently and its no where near as thick as it used to be! Don't know if its a good thing or not!
Keith.

mx5 used to always be a crafty marketing job ,it suggests its fully synthetic but in the small print and brochures it states is a synthetic blend so is a semi synthetic which to be fair is ok to use on most motors but carrys a fully synthetic price tag and many of my customers used to think it was 100% synthetic until i pointed it out ,mx7 mx9 rs959 quotes 100% synthetic in the small print

Yeah see what you mean now.
I always thought it was 100% syth and even the Putoline website gives the impession it is.
With a fully synthetic oil from the top brands around £15 - £18 retail per litre I might look at oil with a comparable spec from a lesser known brand name.
