Got a dc conversion, wassell & battery, somebody helpfully tidied up the wiring now the lights only run off the battery. Can someone confirm that the power comes out of the reg. thru the red wire. If this is connected to the loom it should power the lights. Anything that could cause problem or is stator off & check wires? Thanx

Yes, the red from the regulator connects to the brown in the loom thus providing DC to the lights and horn. An additional wire should be connected from the brown to the positive side of the battery and the negative terminal of the battery connected to earth. With the engine off, the battery will power the lights but with the engine running the power from the stator will supplement it. If you disconnect the battery, the lights should work as normal with the engine running.
