casa rear bearing

just bought a Spanish 200 casing fitted with a casa rear bearing, I believe there are some issues with this and was wondering how can you tell the good ones from the iffy?

not sure if its the casa ones but if i recall correct some are slightly wider causing gearbox shiming problems

Yes, bearing case was too wide on a batch: cannot shim withouth 1.0 + shim selecton. All
the ones I have bought since 2006 have been A1

do you mean the bearing case, ie the height, was wrong, if so is there any way to tell which one ive got?

yes the bearing case ... if you have an orriginal one to compare with vernier calipers
